LGBTQI+ Workplace Inclusion: From Theory to Practice focuses on understanding diversity, equality and inclusion in the workplace, with particular attention to the experiences and needs of LGBTQI+ people. Participants are introduced to key concepts and equal-treatment principles, examine forms of discrimination, stereotypes and prejudice, and explore how an inclusive working environment is linked to psychological safety, employee satisfaction, collaboration and performance.
The course combines conceptual understanding with applied activities, case studies, active listening, empathy exercises, role-play and conflict-management practice. In the final part, participants assess the current situation in their workplace and develop a practical Inclusive Action Plan with clear objectives, areas of intervention, responsibilities, resources, timelines, and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
