A Parent Training On Using The Teaching Interactions Procedure Through Digital Tools To Teach Social Skills To Their Children With Autism
TIPS project aims to train parents of autistic children on how to teach social and life skills to their children. The project has developed a Digital Game and Digital Interactive comic strips in order to improve the social skills of autistic children.
The project is based on TIP (teaching interaction procedure), and its main goal is to train families as it is important for autistic kids to learn such skills from an early age.
General Objectives
- GO1: to improve social and life skills of autistic children via digital game and digital interactive comic strips
- GO2: to provide tools for parents to help their kids develop social and life skills
- GO3: to prepare a training kit for adult educators in order to train parents of autistic children on how to teach life and social skills to their kids
- GO4: to train adult educators and parents of autistic children on how to effectively utilise digital tools developed with autistic children
- GO5: to improve the life and personal skills of autistic children and their families
