Empowering youth to combat gender based disinformation and hate speech spread through social media
ScrollOff project is about gender-based hate speech on social media and how it affects young people. The project aims to train youth workers in order to train youth on how to recognise gender-based hate speech and disinformation spread through social media.
The project thus aims to support young people as victims of gendered-hate speech and train them in dealing with harmful content.
Objectives:
- to train youth workers in order to train youth on how to recognise gender-based hate speech and disinformation in social media
- to support youth who face gender-based hate speech in social media and train them in dealing with such content
