GAMBLING FREE FEED

Creating Preventive Attitudes Against Gambling Harms For Young People

The Gambling Free Feed project aims to prevent gambling harms among youth by focusing on the growing issue of digital gambling marketing. Despite legal restrictions, underage gambling is prevalent, with significant risks for developing gambling problems and addiction. We emphasize the importance of early intervention and providing young people with tools to recognize and resist gambling advertisements on social media. We aim to have a strong impact on the youth sector by developing tools for preventing gambling harms and fostering synergies between education, training, and youth work.

Our project includes creating volunteer opportunities, raising awareness, and providing support to both young people and those affected by youth gambling. We collaborate with experts by experience, professionals, and national authorities to create a comprehensive prevention model. Through this project, we provide young people, especially at-risk gamblers, with knowledge and practical skills for gambling harm prevention. We also support parents, peers, and youth work professionals with the necessary information and tools.

Our goal is to build a sustainable and effective framework for gambling harm prevention across Europe, ensuring that the voices of young people and those affected by gambling are heard and included in policymaking and prevention strategies.
