VET Strategies for Edutainment in European Agritourism
Agritainment aims to strengthen sustainable skills in European agritourism by merging education and entertainment within vocational training. The project develops a competence model for Green Agritainment, a digital course, and an atlas of interactive training practices, while also creating tools to measure pro-environmental behaviours.
Through research with agritourism businesses, pilot training, a MOOC, and international events, it empowers VET learners and workers in the agri-food and tourism sectors to promote sustainability, enhance visitor experiences, and align rural tourism with Europe’s green transition.
